D’olive Bay Wood Fired Grill is an Upscale Casual restaurant located on historic D’Olive Bay with a spectacular view of the sunset across Mobile Bay, and the Mobile skyline at night. The water way connecting the site to Mobile Bay was named after Louis D’Olive who founded the Daphne area in the early 1700’s.

A landmark building with an incredible view of Mobile Bay, a couple with a passion for food, extensive renovations and interior decorating and a renowned and accomplished celebrity chef. Combine all of the above and what you have is a recipe for success that is an incredible asset to what the Eastern Shore and the city of Daphne has to offer residents and visitors to our area.

The menu is an eclectic blend of authentic Creole, Southern Regional, European, and Asian cuisines built on seafood, steaks and pastas. The focal point of the kitchen is the large wood fired grill which is used to grill, fish, steaks and vegetables.

The restaurant offers a wide range of grilled and sautéed dishes including, all the seafood items as well as steaks and chicken. All dishes are presented with consideration to eye appeal, taste of the main item, careful selection of complementary vegetables and garnishments to provide a good balance of flavors.

D’Olive Bay has a large selection of appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts with emphasis on dishes not commonly seen on the Eastern Shore. All bread and desserts are made in house.

The interior of the restaurant has been decorated in a West Indies Décor with attractively placed local artwork on the walls. The dining room is well lighted providing just the right balance of ambience in the room without sacrificing table top lighting. In March 2007 the restaurant was closed for extensive renovation from front to back, complete with all new kitchen, dining room, and attractive glass tiled bar and bathrooms. The restaurant re-opened under new management In August of 2007.

For more than 30 years guests have enjoyed dining at this site while watching great white heron, alligators and other wildlife. The West facing dining room is renowned for the best sunset view on Mobile Bay, and is a time honored stop for those passing through the area to the Gulf Beaches.
